About us

My husband and I live together with our Shelties at the outskirts of the small village of Seibersbach, which is located in the Soonwald in the southern part of the Hunsrück, a low mountain range in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

We take it for granted that our dogs are treated as part of the family. They live together with us in our house that is situated on an enclosure of approximately 3,000 sq yd in which the dogs can romp around untroubled. They love their daily walks, lasting for several hours, in the rural landscape as much as we do.

We tried several dog sports with our Shelties already – alongside Agility we play Flyball, follow trails and do cavaletti training. But we really love to do Competitive Obedience (FCI and KC). For a couple of years I have been a voluntary trainer for Competitive Obedience at a local dog club.

I am a member of the German Kennel Club (Club für Britische Hütehunde – CfBrH) and joined the English Shetland Sheepdog Club (ESSC) in 2009.
