Obedience World Cup

CRUFTS 2013 is part of the past now and again Fabio and I had the honour and the pleasure to be on the German team for the Obedience World Cup.

To begin with I would like to thank our team, which had placed so much confidence in Fabio and me for the second time. As always when it comes to the point, my big boy was on his best behaviour. Once again he showcased how much fun one can have while performing on the famous green carpet. Provided that his two-legged partner would have given an account as good as he had done, it all would have added up … but that is CRUFTS!

I would like to express my gratitude to the judge of this year´s competition, Maurice Yates, and his team, who bestowed a fabulous day in the ring on us.

I am deeply indebted to all who had been on hand with help and advice for Fabio and me, who helped us to accomplish this high standard with their infinite patience and dedication. Moreover to these belong all who got along with seemingly endless laps of heelwork, who laid out a vast number of scent cloths (including laundry service at intervals) and who arranged an effective distraction training for Fabio with a wealth of ideas, etc. etc. etc.

I would particularly like to thank Lisa, whom I owe fondest memories of this day in form of beautiful pictures. Furthermore she assisted us greatly with training. Without her assistance before and during the tournament I would have lost my rag.
